Looking at the side yesterday, there’s an obvious Milner shaped hole. Neither he nor WBG are ideal for that progressive CM role. And Rutter usually plays further forward. Still think we need O’Riley (or similar)

We'll see players coming in and out and some getting substantial minutes off the bench. There's no first 11 anymore.
Point taken - so that's £50m worth of bench-warmer then!
Yes, no first 11 any more maybe - but not not excessive rotation either; needs to be some stability, a framework if you like.

We now send £15m players on loan, so £25m for bench warmers seems about right.
There are players who have to prove themselves now. If Baleba and a few others wants to play theyd better get some performances in. Enzisko,Ferguson, Estupian, Barco, Gruda, Rutter to come… good innit ?

Don’t think it’ll work like that. I personally feel we need another starting CM whether Billy goes or not - I expect Dahoud to go too. It’s the one position, along with fullback cover where I feel we’re short.This only happens if Gilmour leaves ?

Very pleasing news - centre mid is obviously the problem position. For some reason Billy's face don't fit so we need good options

Too be honest, not so sure. I think both his agent and club are holding out for bigger offers.
