23 Chinese tested positive for drugs in the run up to the last Olympics but they claimed it was food contamination. It was not made public and they were allowed to compete. I'd be astonished if they didn't have a doping programme..

I appreciate what you're trying to say and I don't disagree, but given the choice, I'd rather not. Not everything in life has to relate to everything else.
At the risk of appearing pollyannaish, let's try and avoid divisive stuff on this thread - it gives me and I'm sure plenty of others daily joy.
It's a place to recognize and admire outstanding performances, celebrate GB medals in real time, share results and express opinions around them.
And if truth be told, we could probably all benefit with some unifying feel-good at the moment.

Fencing and alcohol seem a dangerous mix, tbh.

I'm becoming addicted to the archery. Tense and exciting. Bryony Pitman from Shoreham, has just won her first match 6-2, finishing with three 10s, and a bpm of 85. Which is ridiculous.
