Is anyone else here old enough to remember when football was exciting?
We could really do with Toney or Watkins up top, we're not going to be able to get through when they get 10 players behind the ball every time we get forward. I was pretty satisfied with that though, we didn't create much but at least we look in control.

We’re playing a lot better but it’s still more like chess than football. We need to move the ball a lot quicker and perhaps gamble on Gordon for Trippier.
I’ve been impressed with Konsa and concede that Dunk would be good in Stones’ role in the back 3 but Konsa’s speed and mobility is needed either side.

A bit better for me. Pickford’s distribution is appalling and so are our corners but much better pressing and not so deep.

That's the long and short of it. I used to be well up for England games but I'm a bit 'whatever' now because they are a tough watch.
I guess it's all relative. Not brilliant, but SO much better than the last 3 games.
