We needed another winger by all accounts and Minteh seems a risk but we have to go with the club on this. I agree those gaps need urgently addressing, but the signings don’t always fall in a convenient order. In this case Minteh is the Newcastle PSR makeweight. A Geordie mate told me exactly that on Tuesday. So we need to get it done today.
