Bobby probably remains my favourite Albion player of all time. We don't talk about him enough these days.

Without him, like others, we would not be where we are today.

It meant a lot to me that he wanted to finish his career at the Albion, despite being a legend at other clubs too.

I've noticed how often Bobby replies to our club's/players' posts on Instagram and how excited he is whenever we win. He's definitely still and always one of us.

Yes. So many magic moments at a time when I was doing more than 10 away games a season. The goal away at Bury that had my GF of the time, a northern lass with only passing interest in football, giving it the full "fookin hell!".

Two men we wanted to sign around the same time: Bobby Zamora and Lorenzo Pinamonte. One was our second choice. The other had a brief spell at Brentford then faded into obscurity.

It was what it was.
