Of course yes, 100%.

My generations Zamora was Ward. A shadow of his former self on return but God I was glad he came home.

Has everyone forgotten the spirit and romance.

It's why we signed Vicente.

Warming up will get the crowd going.

Sign him now.

The uplift in mood this would bring up could pull us over the line.

Even if he's not what he once was it would still be a great option if he's actually now fit

For "Never Go Back", see Andrew Crofts.

For "He must be crap as [X] are letting him go", see Ashley Barnes.

The right answer, surely, is that it depends on the money?

For the record, Zamora came on in the 69th minute tonight for Austin, so would appear to be fit enough to play the bench striker role if necessary.

Never go back back.

One of those meaningless sayings to file alongside "charity begins at home" which don't gain any truth in a given context just because you say it.

Lazy.

They are many reason to not sign Zamora. Wages, injury, loss of form etc.

But "never go back" isn't one them unless someone can present some statistical analysis over a large sample that proves it.

Nonsense.

my thought is no, dont go back. but if he's available for the right money, why not? i reckon he has a couple of seasons of a 10-15 games, and offers a good deals of versitility across the front three positions.

So not technically don't go back then.

Zamora has already come back the Albion. When we signed him, it was his second spell with the club. Had he listened to the 'never go back' nonsense, he wouldn't have transferred to us.

For "he is too old", see Super Kevin Phillips' contribution at the end of last season.

What is this "pay-as-you-play" bollocks??

I have never known a player who still had something to offer in the upper echelons of the English leagues EVER sign for a club on a "pay-as-you-play" deal.

Please, good people of NSC, educate me with some examples of when this has actually happened.

If Buckley does not go, if we signed him I can see them becoming good friends

Has Zamora played more than half a dozen games in the last 2 years ? He was on £ 90k a week QPR might be lower now but we need to pay £ 30k a week at least. It is a risk and a gamble. It may raise dwindling interest post season if/when we do not progress from this league and reel in a few sth's to renew again but the thing is Zamora does not even like his career and I think his heart is in it anymore. It's a no, heart yes, head no.

Have you got access to his wage slip ?

I know he was on £ 90k a week at QPR. Bridge was on similar whilst here which Man City paid most of.
