Zamora to Reading?

Rumoursville all around here. West Ham fans reckoning he's off to Reading today for a meeting with Coppell, and some RFC fan reckons he saw Zamora at the MadStad today with his agent. This fella isn't known to deliver any rumours let alone dodgy ones so the source is not known as good or not. The poster is usually very sensible on the board.

Would you risk him now, or has Pardew + Spurs ruined him?

Are you actually trying to reproduce the team that got relegated two years ago, ok you will have all the better plays but still..

To lose at Withdean to a West Ham Zamora goal would piss me off.

To lose to a Reading Zamora goal would really upset me, so I hope he goes elsewhere.

There seems to be a Coppell/Reading love In on NSC these days, I'm obviously more bitter and twisted than most and I don't wish Reading well with their ex Albion contingent

Reading are where the Albion would be today had it not been for Archer, so good luck to them in a way.

Are u sure! The last team I want to see Bobby go to is Reading, I f****** hate them since Pardew was there nicking all our players and then they pinched Coppell off us too. Would rather see him go anywhere but the library Mad Stad!

If he goes to Reading and does well, we'll know that Zamora isn't a one-club wonder.

If he does poorly like at Spurs and West Ham, despite working under Coppell, theb he'll probably end up back in Brighton. Would we want him back then?

How would it be the best move, Reading have about 5 strikers on their books already?

Igimarsson, Sidwell, Brooker, Steve Brown (stolen from underneath our noses), Steve Coppell and now Bobby Z?? They may aswell relocate to Brighton and we'll take the Mad Stad!

Forster is great
Kitson is great
Goater is poor but can finish when "fed"
Morgan has quality technique but doesn't score
Owusu has poor technique but does score (see the one against Wigan!?! )

Zamora would be a great addition - gives us the possibility of 4-3-3 as well...

Zamora/Kitson, Zamora/Forster, and Forster/Kitson would all work...

We have Forster, Kitson and Owusu who have all proven themselves, and Morgan and Goater , both of whom the jury are still out on.
Zamora would be a welcome addition to our injury hit squad.

This Reading smugness is the main reason I have an intense dislike for your club.

He really needs to go to a club where his confidence will get a boost. Once that's back he'll score regularly again.

Suspect there will be less pressure at Reading (if it is them) than at either Spurs or West Ham, so it could work.

Steve Brown has retired.
Ingimarsson, Sidwell and Brooker came from other clubs, after they had played for you.
Coppell is the only person who has transfered directly.

Sidwell was on loan at Brighton when he moved to Reading, Brighton were trying to sign him at the same time but the millions Madjeski keeps under his wig proved to be too much.

We were after Brown and Brooker when they went to Reading too.

its my firm belief (though utterly unfounded) that Zamora will wait until Adams has landed a new club (Southhampton my bet) and then he'll be off there.

I don't understand why Pardew would agree to let Zamora go to his main promotion rivals and a club that would revel in getting promotion over West Ham.

Complete madness and akin to shooting yourself in the foot. Pardew is a **** but is he also a moron?

If he can take £6k a week of the wage bill for an underperforming player then surely he must consider it. Hope he doesn't though as I would not want to see Bobby at Reading. Would be almost as sickening as going to Palarse.
