That sounds possible. Zamora needs to play first team football to regain his confidence.

It cannot have escaped him that he has gone from England hopeful, to being hated at West Ham in less than two years.

I just hope he gets a chance somewhere.

I hope he gets his chance too, would be a real waste if we were the only club to see the best of Bobby, perhaps another spell working with Peter Taylor might just do the trick!

Going to a high flying team under a manager he knows could be a good move to get his confidence back, he ought to bang them in at that level.

True, in fact going to Hull permanently might not be a bad move, if he bangs in goals for the rest of the season they should get promoted and it would give him another shot at the Championship with a side that has potential for doing more than reasonably well!

What are you all talking about?

We are bigger and better than Hull (aside from the obvious stadium difference) so to see our beloved Bob waste his time at some two bit tin pot outfit such as Hull is a travesty.

Swimming in the channel from Brighton beach is fun.

Swimming in the North sea from Hull is detrimental to your health and sanity.

Brighton 1 Hull 0

Bluejuice, I do not deny that we are bigger and better than Hull, however when Bobby played his best football it was with us when we were on the up, I would suggest that Hull are at a similar stage in their development. I wouldn't quite call Hull a two bit tin pot outfit though, they have been penalised by finding themselves in a town more traditionally recognised for its rugby teams, much in the way Wigan have and look where they have got to.

I have been to Hull a couple of times and given a choice would much rather live in Brighton, but beggars as they say can't be choosers.

Is this for real? Bobby to 'Ull?

Jeez, I hope this one isn't true :nono:

Going to cop some right flak from Hull mates if he goes there :(

We are not Bigger than Hull, if you think that you are deluded, they have consistently pulled in very good crowds even in the lower divisions, even at their old ground.

We are currently better, but with their resources you would not bet against them reaching the premiership long before we are able too.

Dan, your last point is exactly why I (in an offhand kind of way) was suggesting that a move to Hull might not be as stupid as it sounds.

What is the point, unless it is with a view to a permanent transfer?

He is dropping from a division where he struggles, to a division where he is a proven goalscorer so if it's just on loan it seems like an admission of failure to me. He needs to be playing Championship football to prove he is up to it otherwise he will never get back into a West Ham team.

Has the Bobster lost his ambition? Turning down Palace (forget what we think, they are a Premiership team) and dropping to League One. No doubt he'll be on brilliant money but seems like a retrograde step for an ambitious player to me.

I think it's a bollox rumour :)

i think we'd struggle to match some of hulls crowds this season even if we had the ground

Would be a great move for Bobby. A manager who likes him in a team playing well. A few goals and a championship celerbration at the end.

Just like being back at home ay Bobby?? :albion:
