But why would he be dragging his heels? The only reason he could drag his heels, is if he thinks we have a better option. We'd all like to see Bobby again, but if faced with a choice between Bobby and a younger proven striker, we'd be more split.

Get both. Off load COG and replace with Bobby, who would be a huge improvement, then we can get a 'younger proven' striker too.

You do have a point. I'm surprised Bobby wants a pay as you play deal with us though, as I'm sure other clubs, with more money than us, would be interested.

Yes, I suggested we may have to offload COG first in another thread, but... put it this way... we currently have 4 keepers on the books... we didn't wait to loan out Walton before we signed NM, did we?
