Anyone else heard about this guy Labyad coming to the Albion? 27 year old Ajax attacking midfielder. Not played much in the last two seasons.

Zakaria Labyad is a Dutch-born Moroccan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Ajax in the Eredivisie. The player has previously represented the Netherlands U17 team at international level before switching his allegiance to Morocco and playing for them at the Under-23 level.

Could just be paper talk. My concern is that there seems to be some suggestion that we might offer Ali J plus cash for this guy. The few Dutch twitter folk reporting on that seem to think that would be a terrible deal for us. Based on his career stats thus far, it's hard to disagree.

I was on to a Ajax swap/PX but it was the winger Neres I was hoping for, not a player who has had some big injuries, plays centrally (in a position where we seem to have four or five better options than him) and is most accustomed to the Ajax bench rather than starting for the Champions League first eleven.
