Though I do have a horrible feeling we'll end up playing at Sainsburies Park
as i have said so many times before, its not rocket science if you know where to look, are you really that stupid you cant see from your gates that A = Income and B = Outgoings are so far apart that you are losing money dramatically. Your crowds might be increasing slightly but with the group on deals you do which is a high percentage of your gate, you dont actually bring in much cash. The club is only going one way into the red and quick, why was the new ground shelved, why has no improvement work been carried out to smellhurst? why no players signed..................
Oh yes! Get in there! Please let this happen!
So to conclude you have no proof whatsoever. Great, I thought as much.
Just FYI, we signed 6 or 7 players in the Summer. We've signed one on loan so far and we're looking to sign another two or three players from the top flight. Group-on tickets make up an extremely small percentage of our gates (1 or 2%). The majority of our income comes from our roughly 10,000 season ticket holders. The new ground hasn't been shelved, we're just looking at re-developing Selhurst instead because we would have to wait decades to get planning permission in Crystal Palace Park due to the residents.
We lost £3.5m last year, we lost £4m before that, and a similar figure the year before that.
Say we sell Zaha in January, we'll get, what, £15m for him? We could settle every penny that the club owes to CPFC2010 and still have several million pounds to add to our transfer budget.
CPFC owes CPFC2010 several million pounds each. However, they do need have any pressing need for the money NOW. They don't need a rapid influx of cash which means there won't be a fire sale in January or in the Summer. We have a very good chance of getting promoted this season, they have promised no player sales unless we get a ridiculous offer, and we'll be strengthening the team in January.
The fact that you are completely ignorant to anything that happens at Palace means that your opinion cannot be taken seriously. If you think that this Palace side will be falling apart, or that our chairmen are desperate for money, you are delusional.
The Villa fans probably thought this about the Newcastle name change from St. James' Park to the sportsdirect.com@StJames'ParkStadium last season. Then they looked at the League table.

I shouldn't have thought the villa fans were any more interested than any other set of supporters barring of course Sunderland.
All of that is fine except
a) You won't get £15m or anything like it.
b) Whatever you get will not arrive in one lump sum. That is not how transfers work, you will get whatever sum you agree, say £8m with add ons, spread over the term of the contract. Now this bit is where it is negiotated, but as a guess £3-4m up front then the rest spread of 3-4 years. So no Golden sum of £15m unless you sell him for about £40m
The article this thread was started for said that the deal was worth £12m. Holloway has said on Sky that this would not be enough, and our chairman have clearly indicated that a deal won't be done at such a low price. It's looking very likely that if he's sold, we'll be getting our £15m+
Reckon we could pick up Buckley and CMS now I know that they're cash strapped and desperate for the money. What do you think Glenn?
No thanks to CMS. I'd take Buckley as cover for Yala though, and Bridcutt would be some excellent cover for Jedinak.
How much would it cost to take these two though? I'd normally say that it'd cost us at least £5m for the pair of them, but considering Brighton are in dire financial straits losing £8m a year it seems like a cut-price deal might be on the cards. If we offered to pay them all of the money up front to ease some of their financial concerns, I think £2m for the pair might do it.
Such a prick
Bridcutt will be the player to depart, the only player with rave reviews and a glowing endorsement from Poyet.

Terrible effort. But maybe we should be taking your advice, palace are certainly the experts at posting losses. I suppose the difference is our loss will be largely based on outgoings on infrastructure, as opposed to mugging off charities. Speaking of oweing money, when're you going to fess up to being seaside and pay up on your bet you welching little prick?
