I like this comment:

"Wilf you ****. What a way to ruin your legacy"

Surely he can keep diving at Everton so his legacy will remain

Maybe not a bad idea to get rid just as VAR comes in TBH

Always had the potential to go massively tits-up this summer with Zaha, and it's all going to plan.

Zaha, despite his years of saying how much he loves Palace and hates Brighton etc, literally couldn't wait to get out of the place this year, to literally anyone who came up with the money.

First after making it crystal clear he wanted out it was 'boyhood love' Arsenal, but they get someone better. The Tottenham exit, tipped for several years, has gone as they are going for top quality. He was very lucky Everton had the cash to offer him an escape route, but Palace turn down a great offer of £70million plus two players, one on loan.

Now reports that he is furious Palace have reneged on an agreement to listen to reasonable offers, and handed in a transfer request. If he goes, no time to replace him. If he stays, disruption and disillusionment for player, team-mates and fans.

At least he can say goodbye properly - Everton first game is against Palace at Selhurst Park
