He did nothing last night and didn’t even look particularly bothered. His legs are gone. It’s no wonder he’s probably going to move to Saudi Arabia in the summer.

If the rumours of Palace offering him £200k a week to stay are true I hope he takes it. Potential to absolutely tear team harmony apart having a player that far above everyone else wages wise. Will make signing new players that much harder as they are going to point to what Zaha gets and want a substantial amount too. They'll still have nothing to show for all these years in the Premier League and the new stand will remain pie in the sky. Has the potential to end in tears and not just from Zaha on the Amex pitch.

Clearly Zaha messed up signing that long term contract with Palace. That was his chance at the big time.

Now he’s lost his edge and without him Palace aren’t the same threat. He’s the main reason Palace have stayed in the PL so long.

They have some talented youngsters, Eze in particular, but he needs to step up without Zaha around. Obviously I hope it all goes to shit.

Anyone who thinks he's off to Saudi is deluded. This is a man who felt lost and bewildered in Manchester: how's he going to cope in Riyadh or Mecca?

Nope, it's just another one of his biennial contract charades, designed to make the Glaziers beg him to stay and fluff his ego up that bit more. They will have another two months of "lasts" (Wilf's last game against Southampton! Last game against Leicester! Last game at Selhurst!) and he will do a wildly applauded lap of honour after their final home game, lapping up the adoration from teary eyed Palace fans.

Then there will be weeks of tedious newspaper speculation as to which top club will be desperately trying to sign him (clue: it will be none of them), Palace fans imagining briefly that clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested (same as they were so eager to sign Jonny Williams all those years ago), reports of him flying to Riyadh to put pen to paper then, after Palace have tried and failed to sign anybody decent all summer and the fans are getting restless, it will be revealed that, in a truly shocking turn of events, Tiny Tears has SIGNED A NEW CONTRACT!

And if the rumours are true that they're prepared to pay him, mere months from his 31st birthday, in excess of £200,000 per week, then I for one am absolutely loving it.

...well no. He couldn't escape from Veltman's pocket.

Hope this clears up the OPs question!

From the BBC (well maybe not the asterisks)
Cry*t*l P*l*ce and Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha, 30, is set to reject a move to Saudi Arabia and remain in Europe once he becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

Mentioned above but reported in Guardian today.
Oh please let this be true!!

If he has that offer in his back pocket, and a decent club don't come in for him, that's Palace f***ed.

£10.4 m a season! Eze and Olise will be wanting comparable to stay.
That will be another 3 or 4 seasons without the radical rebuild they so desperately need.

The endless Wilfried Zaha "farewell" tour is well under way now, his every match being touted as his last this, or his last that.

His last midweek game for Palace!
His last away trip!
His last game at Selhurst!
His last goal!
His last assist!
His last spurious penalty claim!

At Selhurst for their final game of the season, the Always Ultras will prepare a massive banner featuring Tiny Tears celebrating his play-off goal at the Amex and a zingy slogan that sounded really motivational and inspiring when they came up with it but which looks to everyone else like it was generated by an AI chatbot.

And the programme will feature sixteen pages of Wilfried's achievements, and as the final whistle blows, the children will hold signs begging for his shirt, and the adults will quietly shed a tear, and Uncle Roy will laud him as The Greatest, as the conquering hero walks his final, final, FINAL lap of honour and soaks up the adoration with his kids in tow.

Then three weeks later he'll sign a new contract on two hundred grand a week because after all that, he didn't get any decent offers from Premier League clubs and his partner didn't fancy living in Riyadh. And so....

Is that the team or stand ?

I'd just settle for it being the women's toilets in the Arthur Wait away section, tbh. Keep the expectations realistic.

Was he captain at the weekend? Never exactly struck me as captain material but guess it’s all part of the keep Zaha movement
