On the Twitter link above, it states he was injured in the game. Not at training.

Wilfried Zaha will see a specialist tomorrow after injuring his knee in the draw with Newcastle on Sunday. Expected to be out for some time #cpfc

Aarons is a Guardian journalist and Palace fan, so has some credence.
Poor ol' Wilf.

He was limping at times during the game yesterday, I’ve only seen the injured in training rumour from one source.
Last time he was injured, he posted a pic of his injury on twitter the same day. This time, nothing.

Keep telling a Palace friend that theyve been playing like desperate nutters since game 7 so they will end up knackered, injured and then relegated. Palace have 6 players out atm plus the one that was subbed on Saturday injured, Kelly?

Thats a pretty big fib about your star player even for a so called journalist at The Groan.

Aarons is deputy news editor and has almost 33k followers. He also has Palace players in his profile picture. If he made stuff up he wouldn't be in a job for long.

Looks kosha to me.

From the outpouring of grief from the great unwashed on Twitter, they seem to believe it. We’ll find out the truth tomorrow.

Incorrect rumours on a twitter account doesn't often get sports journalists sacked does it.

Now now, out for the season back next let not wish bad injury on any player.

I'd rather we beat them with Zaha playing or it'll be the old "if he'd played we'd have slaughtered you easily " shit from the scum. However no-one should ever wish a serious injury on any player." Give your head a wobble" I think is the youngsters expression of choice currently.

Having had a second look, I'm holding my horses. No official confirmation, just a rumour at this stage. If it is true though, they are in big trouble.

It seems that knocking them out of the cup was a mistake. We should have taken it to a replay, and then lost on penalties.
