Funny story, i used to teach him! Ironically, i taught the lad he replaced (Taylor Gardner-Hickman) at the same school too.

He's a good young player, snuffed out a direct dribble from March once. He didn't do a hell of a lot else, but neither did any of his team mates in fairness.

Was that the woman commentator on a popular streaming site? I noticed that she was oblivious to that fact. I also marvelled at how different many accents she used when pronouncing Gross. Bizarre

Yes it was quite strange though I had to reset it a couple of times and the voice started. It wasn't because the sound had been lost at beginning because I could hear the fans. The commentator less version was much better.

It wasn’t just me then. Maybe the young lady was caught in traffic and missed the start of the match.

Mine did as well……if you were on hesgoal it’s not unknown for the stream to ‘switch’ mid-game, suspect that’s what happened ?

She finally settled on a version that rhymed with cross, I think.

I also liked Al’s Arty in our midfield, Budding in their goal and so on.

I particularly enjoyed her insight when we got a free kick "im a good position, opposite the goal". I've always thought that was a good place for a free kick.

Well to be fair it isn't that easy a name to pronounce, especially if you have only just come across it, Mopay, or Moorpay. I can understand her confusion.
