Obviously off topic but that Harry Kane video is a good watch. A few bits not widely reported leapt out

1. The battle he had in early 20s to establish himself. Made me wonder whether we are too hard on Aaron C (we are)
2. I almost fell off my chair when he talked about how Jose paid little regard to fitness. It sounds like he just placed that on the players to look after rather than pushing it. Maybe that is why he has struggled in the premier league in recent years. Teams are so fit and spurs did keep looking like they couldn’t cope in second half.
3. Kane is a far far better golfer than I am (I am off 10).

Bizarrely... I'm expecting Yves to stay one more season. His videos reveal he feels very much part of the Brighton family. One more year, until his PL self confidence is rock solid, then he'll feel ready to move 🤞🤞

There's an argument to say this would be good for him (leaving aside the potential mega bucks if he moves now).

He's a fantastic player but taking off my blue and white glasses he's not - yet - quite the finished article.

Being super critical, his shooting needs to improve and sometimes he looks like a walking yellow card.

These two things will probably improve if he goes to a top six club now but so they would if he stayed with us for a bit.

Are we getting a bit carried away as to how good he really is?

At the end of the day it'll be down to him whether he wants to go now or give Potter the chance to put the finishing touches.

Having said all that, I think he will probably move on now and if he does, bloody good luck to him.

Agree with that, I do think we have got a bit carried away with Biss, plus the media regurgitating the same (potentially groundless) sound bites in every match commentary about a potential transfer.

That said, I also think he will go this summer. Seeing his pal Pepe in Arsenal red must fire that ‘top six’ club ambition in him.

I’m sure I wasn’t the only BHA fan hoping he’d make a couple of howlers yesterday to put off potential suitors.

What a great season. He ended up as defensive midfielder by accident when Stevens was not contributing much. However here is the pity . If we had an obvious replacement he would make an outstanding attacking midfielder and am still hopeful . It is in that position that you make a real difference to a game like Lampard.

Bozza and I were marvelling at how almost magically he is able to win the ball back at times (Man City & Arsenal games). It's surgical in its precision.

Any coincidence the two ‘at times’ games referenced involved potential suitors? :)

But he can't shoot and he's 24 years old. I'm not sure attacking midfield is a great place for him.

No, it was just the 2 games we watched together, the 1st in person at the Amex and the 2nd on TV. As has been mentioned, he's been doing the same magic all season.

My Arsenal supporting mate has just emailed me to apologise for stealing one of our best players. I told him he's welcome to Ryan. Then I realised....yes there is chatter online now talking about 'at least double' the £15 mill we paid. Pub talk?

Edit: 'According to the ooh ah, Daily Star', according the the Metro online.

Pub talk, then. And a shit pub too.

This.

It's not just his almost psychic reading of the game means that he knows where the ball and/or player will probably be in the next 1, 2, 3 etc seconds but also his ability to seemingly beam himself into the right position (Star Trek style) for a tackle when it looked that there was zero chance of getting there. I've not seen that with such consistency in a Brighton player that I can remember.

I’ve seen on Twitter that Liverpool are ‘ now leading the race for Biss’ as Arsenal are looking for something different.

Have we told them he’s not going to be sold this summer?
