Met two friends of mine tonight who are both Pompey season ticket holders,and after endearing them by my saying that they will win something next year...Ryman League South Championship!..both independently were outraged that we had nicked their left back Mattock. So it seems that they see him in high regard and that Gus may have found a decent replacement for Painter.

Apparently he had said that the only team he would go on loan to was Pompey again, but with their financial situation, West Brom put a halt to that. Their loss is our gain.
