is that neil mcnab...?
I did that in a Mini from Worthing and we ended up in the home end at Scunthorpe which became an uncomfortable experience. Looking back I can't understand why we didn't go in the away end (Southend?)...!Make it to Hull in 86 to step of the train only to hear the game had been called off due to a water logged pitch. D
Your not a real fan unless.... You have been to Selhurst and seen us win.
Not a proper fan unless you watched the York re-arranged game on a Thursday morning (or was it Tuesday) at 11am. I was at Hove Park Upper and I was visiting the dentist at the time. Honestly.
I think it was a Thursday. I was working at the Alliance & Leicester nearby, so popped down. Was it free entry ? I seem to remember only the West Stand being open, and possibly the South.
You've been to Northampton town's old ground on a Tuesday night in the back of Richie Hanks mk 2 Ford Fiesta. Security fencing so over the top could not see any of the game.
Tree Boy? For the jcl's
Saw Albion lose 2-8 at home and didn't walk out until the match was over
Some great ones in here, wasn't really looking for specific matches unless something out of the ordinary happened, for example that squirrel that covered more yards than Nathan Jones at Withdean that time. Or when someone (Preston?) put a dangerous looking ball into our box, but rather than someone being on the end of it, El-Abd and their attacker were rolling on the floor with each other, neither interested at all in the ball.
