I agree. We really should have followed the sustainable Brighton model, where you only lose 18 million a year.

Our chairman, who is a fan, pays the bills. We don't owe a penny to anyone. If he got run over by a bus, then we might be in trouble.

Well, if every club followed the Palace model how would 92 teams fit into the Premier league.

No thanks prefer to play by the rules, no point otherwise.

We did play by the rules, fell foul of the rules and were punished according to the rules. We are now in the premier league by winning the play offs, thats the rules.

Now if the rules were. Get rich chairman, get brand new ground, get brand new training facilities, get 20k brand new fans, get brand new sense of entitlement, lose 18 million per year and get promoted then you would be where we are. But football is not like that.

Was that the first time ever an opposition team has managed to acknowledge who our most hated rivals are and goad us with it? Certainly is in my time of going to matches. Had to applaud the Brentford fans in a way for their footballing wisdom.

Yup. No point in goading opposition fans, especially opposition HOME fans, unless it STINGS. Ouch!

Having said that, never heard a peep out of the Brentford fans until after each goal and after the final whistle. Worst support we've ever seen? For sure. Well since at least the last worst support we've ever seen. Obviously.

I wonder how a few of Palace's creditors who were not paid in full think of your rules. No thanks, have pride in my team and the way it runs itself financially. i.e. all debts paid.

How were you punished? A few points deducted? Poor old you. That's not a punishment for writing off millions of pounds and fleecing your creditors.

We didn't GET a rich chairman, his grandfather and uncle are/were on the board of directors. We also had to recover from asset strippers in the 90s.

You know all this but continue to twist facts to make yourselves feel better about robbing creditors.

You may understand this...**** off and go and play on your own forum.

:tantrum: as I said to you the other day, you are just as bad as that return of the makh pillock.

If ever you get the intelligence to actually answer a perfectly simple question, without going back to the fallback position of what you wrote then let me know.

They are not my rules. They are the rules of football and insolvency, it may have only been points but that was the punishment in accordance with the rules. It was not me whom first mentioned the rules by the way.

I think you will find that Brighton posters who know about these things acknowledge that Brighton have not always paid their debts.

There were some companies who had connections with the Albion, that voluntarily, (note VOLUNTARILY) took so many pence in the pound payment, because they wanted the Albion to survive. Not all the creditors, just some of them. The Goldstone ground sale and players sold, to make sure that those who needed payment, got it.

Come on..We all know that is as bad, if not worse than what Palace did.
