Amazing that this thread has gone on so long when El Pres gave the correct answer in the opening post - Turienzo and MacCammon at Luton away. I was there; it was a holocaust of a performance.

Anyone who mentioned Mark Gall must need their head examined. As does the bloke behind El Pres at QPR, of course.

Meadie scored a beauty with his left peg at Burnden Park in the fa cup. I went mental and that for me just saves him from the worst pair.

I remember that, then Macca gave away a penalty. Unbelievably I have a lot of memories from that day, from the freezing weather, to the carpet shop on the pitch, myself and Jam The Man early soirees to away games

Spoilt for choice.. How about Raphael Mead and I cant remember who was up front with him in around 1990.

Initially John Byrne, who scored a few then went to Wearside.

Still one of my favourite away games even though we lost!

Otherwise, without doubt it'd be a pair from the Gillingham years.

My thoughts exactly. Watching Whitehawk v Dagenham on Wednesday took me back to those dark days (Dagenham that is). Journeymen players, players waiting to retire and youngsters with no promise.
