Labour two reasons 1st I am a labour member, 2nd To get this god awful bunch of self serving egotistical cheating scumbag neo-fascist dog turds out of office.

We are going to make Worthing East and West Labour for the first time ever I live opposite a polling station and currently it’s a 20 minute queue to get in I have never seen it so busy

They might as well weigh the Labour vote here. Even in 2019 Labour held it with a huge majority. But I'll still vote for the party that comes closest to my beliefs.

Same happened with the Brexit vote, pencils only!

Nowt to do with Brexit or anything else. It has always (in my lifetime at least) been pencils in the polling booths.

Normally tactically vote for the LDs as they are historically closest to the incumbent Tories but the polling suggests Labour are actually in with a shout so they got my vote this time.

I fear that in (presumably) Mid Sussex a vote for Labour is a vote for the Tories.

Others have always made the choice.

I have never had the deciding vote. I have never lived in a constituency which was tied or with a majority of 1.

My point, I suppose, is that it has never mattered what my vote was. The same candidate was elected regardless of it.

So from that - I vote to send a message. If my constituency is close the more likely that message is taken on board in the future.

I once voted for the winning candidate who won with a majority of 34 - my vote felt meaningful that day

Lib Dem’s in with the best shot in Mid-Sussex so voted for them, probably would have been a toss up between them and Labour anyway in a free vote.
