How Messi isn't in everyone's list I don't know.

Messi
Christiano Ronaldo
Zidane
Pirlo
Ronaldinho

There are quite a number of reasons why he wouldn't be in everyone's list. If you had asked how Maradona wasn't in everyone's list it might have been an acceptable question, at least in my eyes, but he isn't even in your 5

I liked Mr Snuggles' 5. For the international top five I think I'd include Bobby Charlton alongside Pele, Ronaldino, Gazza, and Eusabio

Maradona was a great player but couldnt stand him. As for Messi not surviving in Maradona's era I disagree as I think he has had quite a few players try to take hom out. The difference is now players get more protection

check this video out even just upto the first 5mins I still think messi would nt have been able to handle the tackles flying in Maradona just pure class.

I know you lot hate him and consider him a diving cheat but I'd include zaha in my top five.

He's one of the few players who, on receiving the ball anywhere on the pitch, you can actually feel and hear the excitement level rise in the crowd. He's also one of a small group of players whose performance can change a game in an instant when the pressure is really on them, even in vital games.
