I cannot believe someone actually put Eire. The most dreary, dull, miserable, boring place on the planet. "Oh but the people are lovely". **** off. People are lovely everywhere, except France. Actually France should get a mention as well, fantastic country, ruined only by the inhabitants.

Ooh look at me and my 'alternative' views.

Have you been to North Korea? What in particular made it one of your top five countries? Did you get a good look around and a real chance to explore the real North Korea?

1.) Switzerland. Absolutely beautiful where we were in Fribourg right by the mountains.
2.) USA. It's an absolutely amazing country, ruined by the inhabitants.
3.) Slovakia. Another really nice country in some parts, especially in the winter. Love going to watch football there.
4.) Portugal. I think it's a really nice place, amazing beaches and I'm not a beach person, but Coimbra is a great city.
5.) The Netherlands. Going to university there and I absolutely can't wait. Den Haag and Amsterdam are super cities.

The missus & I are currently in Italy on our summer holidays having a nice time & enjoying the dolce vita.
We have been fortunate to have been abroad on many occasions & were trying to narrow down our best holiday locations.

Why the abuse towards the OP, I don't get it.

I've been to over 60 countries worldwide and it's a nice selection from the OP, four of those countries would get into my top ten, only Israel wouldn't as apart from Jerusalem and The Dead Sea there's not much there.
