I would be concerned if Burn is still our LB come next season. He hasn't got the pace to cope with how Potter wants to play. We saw against Burnley a glimpse of how he wants to play. Quick passing to feet with plenty of movement and (on right hand side) pace. We need to get a player similar for the LB berth.

I do wonder whether we will get a new CDM, one with pace and can pass, someone to play alongside Biss.

Also a new Murray type of player, I would do with a 3-5-2:

---------------------------Ryan
-----Lamptey----White----Webster----Dunk----New LB (Jamal Lewis/Ryan Sessognon etc)
---------------------Bissouma----New CDM
------------------------Lallana (with Mac as understudy)
-----------------Maupay----New Murray

Nice idea. I think mine would be something like that, but only for home games against bottom half teams.

In other games that might prove a little lightweight, and I’d be tempted to swap Alzate for Propper or Stephens.

Dunk has to play in the centre of the three, too.

Reading a lot of these, thank feck Potter is in charge.

Reading a lot of these with Potter in charge, we'll see who's right after the first game.

I can't disagree with any of these teams.i think the variations show we have suddenly found our selves with a really strong and exciting squad.im hoping next season to see potter really show us what we heard about him before he joined us i.e lots of different player selections and formations and even changing formations and tactics during the match to bamboozle the opposition.i think lallana is the type of player to help achieve this.exciting times.
