The Avenue then Maloncho
I was a home and away regular at Peacehaven & Telscombe for many years.

The fact my return to making The Albion more of my priority coincided with the Potter/De Zerbi era where we started playing better and winning more is purely coincidental.

I have never understood the concept of a second team. I guess I have teams that I am more able to like than others, e.g. Charlton, Worthing, Forest, but not a second team. I only have one team.

When we grew up all us kids liked another team besides Brighton.. …..liked I say, not supported…
It’s not talked about now, like we all share (still mates) a terrible secret.
You’ve seen ‘Stand by me’
Anyway mine was Arsenal. I think it came playing with them as my Subbuteo team all the time.
Edit : I have no fondness for them now btw.

The Posh - been to London Road a few times while visiting friends who moved to Peterborough many years ago

BHAPFC - my son played a bit of wheelchair football and went to school with several powerchair team members

Bradford Bulls is the one other team I’d consider myself a fan of. Totally different sport and it’s still nowhere near the love I have for Brighton and Hove Albion.
I flew out for the Marseille game and sat next to their CEO on the plane, Jason, as they were playing Toulouse away that weekend. Brilliant bloke who's invited me to a match and I've kept an eye out for how they're doing.

We landed in Carcassone and I had 6 hours to waste so we sat in a French pub talking about football and rugby league until I had to run for the train.

To be perfectly honest US I’m struggling to get excited by footy as a sport in general these days, I find myself becoming more and more irritated by pro players, managers, agents, pundits, referees ,state owners, TV companies, sponsors and football fans and their knob head behaviour in general, if it wasn’t for Brighton & Hove Albion I genuinely wouldn’t watch the sport so to have a second team is extremely unlikely 😥

Liverpool. Because my pal Bob with whom I have been watching telly football since Sky began supports them (he's one of them) and I like to share in my pal's joy.

However if Brighton is a three course dinner with a decent wine followed by a hot tub and a long hard shag, then Liverpool is an after eight mint.

I understand that. That's exactly how I felt with football a few years back. Going to watch non league football regularly has restored a lot of what I enjoy about watching football.

He seems like a decent bloke and is slowly dragging the Bulls out of the mire, although its very difficult to compete as a semi-pro club. Its been a few years since I've been able to get to a game but I always loved going to Odsal, you should certainly take up the offer of going to a game if you've got an interest in Rugby League.
