I was a football genius up until the age of 17, then women, alcohol and wacky Baccy destroyed my career. At 28 years old i still believe i could do a job for any team outside top 4 in the Prem :lolol:

I hear your pain!

under 8-10 's worthing minors...average.
under 12's -16 's Manor 30 out of sompting.......our particular team ran
the league winning 3 out of four championships neck to neck with southdown utd culminating in a w sussex youth final at woodside road in which i bagged a cheeky hat-trick and was asked over to waterhall for a trial.

teams of the era were adur athletic ,durrington dynamos, kingfisher athletic, fishersgate flyers ,sullington dynamos , southdown utd, bognor maniacs.........oh and rustington otters and wick dynamos........some of the best days of my life ...........

when that all finished i played for dolphin utd (east worthing) and whitbread wanderers (the montague)........more about beer and punch-up s by then.

Jesus, here goes.

U9-U16, Hove Park Colts.
Youth Team, Mile Oak.
Reserve Team Mile Oak.
Reserve Team Burgess Hill.
Reserve Team Steyning Town.
Saturday league Footy with Racehill, Grenadier.
Reserve Team Newhaven Town.
Sunday footy with West Blatchington (Best Moment played against the Witch Inn in the Sussex Sunday Final) That was after a semi final near Pompey. Two coach loads of Brighton nut jobs against a team of Pompey lads, hasten to add it went nuts on the side lines after Gavin Geddes saved a penalty. Real Nevill.

Stupidly made a return after 5 years out with Sovereign Saints vets against Eastbourne United vets and did my Cruciates! 5 months later still off work.

Can't recall the years as they have gone so sodding fast.

only played a few games for them to be honest...and have no recollection of who we played! Have a couple of games against DASH every year now as a coach with Saltdean Utd though which are always fun!

One of the lucky ones, or not so lucky.

Youth released by my beloved BHA.

Youth to 22 Reading (47 1st team appearances)

22-23 serious injury

23-25 Crawley Town

25 retired on doctors advice.

It's funny how during all those years of playing for them (and making our own comedy match day programmes) it never dawned on us that it's spelt DASH!
