The Strypes, getting better every time I see them.

They were the support for Alabama Shakes last night. We intended to catch them, but got through the door to see the last 20 seconds of their last song.

It was quite surreal really, the shortest gig I have ever seen.

The Men They Could't Hang at the Shepherds Bush Empire. Supported by a cracking band called Merry Hell. It was a second gig in 12 months at Shepherds Bush to finish off them celebrating 30 years!

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

Brighton factually.....
What was he like live? Love his retro sound on "record" (Spotify actually)..[i/QUOTE]

He is very good live and very polished, like all American rockabillies he likes to drag ( extend) songs out a little tooooooo long for my liking. Full of hipsters who just wanna be standing around looking cool.

Playing concord I think soon.

Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires - Escape on Friday night. Could be big - make Alabama Shakes look pretty amateur in comparison.

Tarrus Riley in Prague at the end of last year. Possibly the best concert ive experienced here. A real showman.
