i cant remember the exact game but it was sometime in 1981. I can remember sitting in the south stand with may dad & my cousin. Im sure it was agianst arsenal i i could be wrong
1974, can't remember who it was against, but Cloughie was in charge and I was very young. My dad took me and my sister and I remember him pointing out Cloughs kids in the dugout. I was hooked and went to every home match for the next 10 years.
I know its a cliche but its the only thing me and my dad ever did together. He was a total bastard most of the time but for a few hours on a Saturday he was a nice fella.
Won 2-0 vs Wimbledon around 1985 I think. My second game we beat Carlisle 6-1 and the third lost to Charlton 3-5 - so a pretty impressive start to my Albion memories
Against Middlesborough in 1991. It was a 1-1, Mark Gall I think scored for us and they equalised with a penalty, which was iffy as Crumplin was pushed over in the box and the ref gave handball against him (I think).
I think it was against Swansea in 1981 in the lego stand before moving to the proper West Stand the following season. Row A seats 2,3 & 4 (not all for me) for the next ten years.
It was in 1981, when I was ten, but I couldn't tell you who it was against.
Walked up Sackville Road from Prinsep Rd where we lived, lugging a big pile of old papers, which we'd swap for a free portion of chips from the chippy, then down the O.S.rd eating them.
