1984 vs Palace
score 1 nil to us
goalscorer Frank Worthington

2nd game 1987 vs Bristol Rovers and promotion!

3rd game 1991 vs Millwall 4-1 and playoffs bound

season ticket subsequent season all downhill from there!!

1974, can't remember who it was against, but Cloughie was in charge and I was very young. My dad took me and my sister and I remember him pointing out Cloughs kids in the dugout. I was hooked and went to every home match for the next 10 years.
I know its a cliche but its the only thing me and my dad ever did together. He was a total bastard most of the time but for a few hours on a Saturday he was a nice fella.

An evening game, about 1980, some bloke at work (in Worthing) was going and invited me along. We beat Wolves 3-0 and I was hooked!

Foster, Grealish, Robinson, Moseley, Ryan..........great days.

Won 2-0 vs Wimbledon around 1985 I think. My second game we beat Carlisle 6-1 and the third lost to Charlton 3-5 - so a pretty impressive start to my Albion memories

Middlesborough in 1984, last home game of the season. Sat in the South Stand.

We won 3-0, I think Danny Wilson scored a penalty, Neil Smillie scored and there was an own goal.

I was hooked...

I think it was against Swansea in 1981 in the lego stand before moving to the proper West Stand the following season. Row A seats 2,3 & 4 (not all for me) for the next ten years.

It was in 1981, when I was ten, but I couldn't tell you who it was against.

Walked up Sackville Road from Prinsep Rd where we lived, lugging a big pile of old papers, which we'd swap for a free portion of chips from the chippy, then down the O.S.rd eating them.

£1 to watch from the South East Terrace, and that included your program.

Happy days:clap:
