Tevez type forward, loads of skill, scores some cracking goals and some simple ones, world class but happy to graft for 90+ mins

Actually you can't beat a goalie in outstanding spectacular-saving mood (quite literally can't bea 'em in most cases) e.g Jensen for Burnley vs Liverpool this season and Friedel for Blackburn vs Arsenal a few seasons back.

i prefer a goal scoring machine some one who get 30 goals a season who can produce a bit of magic which change a game

Bafetimbi Gomis, Frederic Piquionne, Didier Drogba, you see where I'm headed.

Black strikers?

I general like the two extremes. Either the tough tackling, hard working players or the classy, sometimes lazy players.
BHA examples: El-Abd, Revell, Lynch, Murray.

A 'terrier' type striker. One that won't wait for the ball, oh no, he'll go and get it. Someone who mucks in with defensive duties too.

Usually, this kind of player is short and ugly:

Totally agree, adding low centre of balance etc. I personally love watching Heskey particularly on the international stage because he is quite unique.

The type of players that leave me cold are the likes of Owen and Lineker.

Stunning really. A true footballing genius.

3 is my personal favourite. But alongside number 1 and 5, surely three of the greatest touches you'll ever see on a football pitch? Sublime.

I like players that are just massive lumps of shit but somehow get in a football team and score goals. They are usually over 6 foot and black.

The type of player with amazing technique, but usually that means they lack a bit of pace.

goalkeepers who quite clearly do not want to be goalkeepers and as such feel the need to do flair things, such as dribble the ball around attackers

chilavert was arguably the master of this with his set piece antics. ben roberts also provided many classic moments with his mazy runs out of the box - tranmere away being a classic example when he subsequently lost possesion, gave away a penalty in an attempt to win the ball back and then saved it. that is FLAIR

failing that, players who just court controversy and despite quite clearly doing their best to wind up the opposition, always manage to portray themselves as the victim. ladies and gentleman, i give you jens lehmann:
