Tricky one.

Possibly my favourite Floyd artefact though is the Pompeii DVD, has some great doc footage of them in the studio.

Seeing Waters and Gilmour as mates is a bit sad looking back as well, given how far apart they are now.

That is assuming that people listen to Pink Floyd in the first place of course.
He does say “if you’re a Floyd fan…..”
so why not just walk on by, as I would if it were about Led Zeppelin.

Gilmour is a f*****g magician , he plays with his very soul and has the respect of the musical world , if you cant respect Dave Gilmour you are showing your ignorance of music in general .
Just to explain. I know that Gilmour is a great guitarist and I like his work on Dark Side, but I think he quickly settled into a distinct style of long drawn out notes that I don't find particularly interesting. I'm not into the whole 'best guitarist' thing, but I find someone like Steve Howe much more versatile and inventive with lots of different styles, sometimes within the same song.

Dave Gilmour helping Syd out after he’d lost it by playing on and arranging his whimsical music No denying the talent of both of them imo
