World in Motion came on the Ipod today while I was laying out in the sun at lunchtime. Took me back to 1990; I was in Plymouth & they closed off Union Street after the Cameroon game for an impromptu street party. My favourite footie song, way better than 3 lions I reckon.
No one's mentioned On-U Sound yet, what's wrong with you lot?
My two favourites would have to be;
1) Sharp As A Needle by The Barmy Army (featuring Alan Jones' commentary of Kenny Dalglish's winner against West Ham at Villa Park in an 80's League Cup Final replay, you know the one - where the ball came over his head and he lashed it on the voilley. "Kenny Dugleesh, sharpe as a needle").
2) The other is the The Game by Tackhead featuring some mad shit from Brian Moore saying stuff like "sound engineer on for the drummer" and tyhe classic line "MAGNIFICENT, and at last the crowd's got something to cheer about"
