Still in Brighton
Tomorrow night ends 'Rock Bottom Month' on the Rewatchables.
NSC didn't do too well in prognosticating this time round, but for all you completists out there, the chosen films that descend to Rock Bottom were:-

Manchester By The Sea.
Shot Caller - a very good prison descent film, I've championed on here a few times.
The War of the Roses - Michael Douglas Kathleen Turner.
Magnolia.
&
Hardcore (1979) - George C Scott and his missing daughter.
Excellent movie I found in a bargain bin knowing nothing about it. Grim but would recommend it too.
I always liked Blue Ruin (don't watch the trailer).

Yeah it pops up on Film4 quite a bit.
I've seen it 2 or 3 times now, and have mentioned it a few times here, only to be met with stony silence!

Leaving Las Vegas gets my vote. Cage's best film by a distance. Best watched end of December if you're going for the dry January. Whenever I watch it puts me right off drinking and I'm seriously not a big drinker in the first place!
