This has probably been done many times but we are always getting new people so it is interesting to hear their views.

Mine was Sully - Peter O'Sullivan because he joined us a as a young beatle haircut lad from Man Utd and gave me many years of pleasure with his trickery on the left wing and spent most of his career with us including getting picked for Wales.

I do not know if it is a compliment to him but I named my dog Sully, who followed me everywhere sadly he died a couple of months ago but he was like a friend to me and when people asked about his name I had the joy of explaining why he was so called, because both gave me great pleasure.

kit napier - I will always remember a goal he scored from the right wing in front of the south stand - top corner from 35 yards out wide - wonderful

At the moment it's Dean Cox.

Has alot of potential, a local lad and has improved immensly.

All time favourite has to be Sir Bob

Although I am only 17 so I haven't seen that many greater players for us.

For me it has to be Flash Walker for the sublime skill and pace.

Brian Horton, captain and driving force of the best team we've ever had. I still see visions of Nobby surging forward in the Bukta strip on a muddy Goldstone pitch.

Jimmy Case.

Joined the Albion at the same time as I first started going and was head and shoulders above anything else on the pitch most Saturdays. Loved him.

Shit manager, mind.

Has to be Wardy, showed me how exciting football could be and cemented my loyalty when I was a lad.

More recently Bobby Z. same thrill as with Wardy when ever Bobby started to run with the ball, and seemed like a modest, all round regular guy when ever I met him.

Old School it was Codner. Now I would say probably Fraser, Elphick or Lynch.

Shit but I loved him was McPhee.

Currently it is probably Robinson. I know he doesn't actually achieve very much, but he always seems like he's GOING TO when he gets the ball.

From my formative days there were many 'favourites'; Penney, Connor, Saunders, O'Regan, Eric Young, Hans of course, then later Johnny B and Garry Nelson and Mike Small, Bobby Z and so many more.

If I HAD to chose, then my all time favourite was probably Kieran O'Regan. I have no idea why.

ah there's a blast from the past. Years ago I went up to Barnsley away and stayed up there with relatives. On the Sunday after it was Huddersfield v Bradford at Leeds Road so we went. Scorer of the only goal in a Huddesrfield 1-0 win (should please DtG) ....... Kieran O'Regan

Steve Jacobs ................if only we'd kept him.

His career 'peaked' quite early. A few years later I recall playing against him on a Sunday morning. He was playing for the Brewery Tap. He was decent at that level.
