Derby County in the days of the sand pit pitch and wooden stand behind the goal , the atmosphere was always fantastic , loved that place .

I like a trip thats f***ing miles from home.

the old Darlington away day was tremendous before they left feethams.

The game when Lee steel scored up there in a 3-1 win was fantastic......[/QUOTE]

Certainly was, so pissed that I was literally seeing double of every player, and had to watch the match with one hand permamently over an eye in an attempt to watch 'properly'!! How I got into the ground, god only knows!! But Darlo is a great little northern market-town for a football away-day.

Good shout :rave::rave::rave:

What a pub outside Darlo station too! Top 10 cheapest in England I believe? Usually have a few in there before Middlesborough Away.

I enjoyed Tranmere a couple of years ago, even though it was a poor game which we lost. Ferry cross the Mersey, plus good pubs in Liverpool, what could be better.

I would say Millwall is also fun, not far away, great larfs winding up their fans and good pubs. Though maybe Charlton is a good replacement for the time being.

Looking forward to my first trip to Huddersfield. For some reason, mid winter trips up North always feel good.

Orient's crap since they got rid of the terraces; used to love the paddock down the side. Can't really understand why Barry did it :shrug:
