Isn't that the one that includes the most (unintentionally) hilarious song in history, 'Ironic'? Nothing in the song is actually ironic, except perhaps for the fact that the writer doesn't understand the meaning of the word.

And quite liking the new Warpaint album at the moment, but that's a band.

'Revelator' album by the Tedeschi Trucks Band, featuring Susan Tedeschi, what a gorgeous voice.

Won a grammy for best blues album.

An example of her work is 'Midnight in Harlem', see footage of the Crossroads concert on Youtube. I defy you not to feel chilled out after watching that.

Her old man Derek Trucks (formerly of the Allman Bros Band) isn't too shabby on the guitar either.

Are we allowed female groups? If so, We Are The Pipettes by the Brighton-based (and now defunct) Pipettes is one of my favourite albums of all time

A Girl Called Eddy by A Girl Called Eddy. 2004 and I am still waiting for a follow up.

Love this track, there was spine chilling live version done on the Mark Radcliffe show many years ago, love to know how to get hold of it.

Richard Hawley on guitar, also produced it I think.
