I loved the 80's and this song was/is IMMENSE. Sounds just as good today. Its just so much better than the music today. Any other 80's fans out there and what are your favourites.

Also I will be launching an 80's club night shortly whereby a venue will be hired for an 80's night of nostalgia and dressing up. It is sure to be a great night. Further details to follow.

Obviously I wasn't around in the 80's but I do prefer 80's music to most of the modern stuff. Always prefer to put absolute 80's on the radio at work rather than radio 1.

Too many to narrow down to one, but it was without doubt the greatest era for music the world has ever known. If you pinned me by the throat and DEMANDED I name 3 of my favourite tunes, then off the top of my head I'd probably gurgle:

Every Breath You Take - The Police
The Safety Dance - Men Without Hats
Cars - Gary Numan

Such a good song, it's very cool that you know someone involved in the writing of it, such a perfect 80s pop song.

I would definitely say:

Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence

But it's just TWO months out, having been released in Feb 1990. Probably written in the 80s. SUCH a tune. Best song of the 90s. 90s was CACK.

Include 30-somethings and I'm interested.

Where?

Edit: NOT October 16th, that's Charlton away.
