Tricky, because they change every so often, but right now (in no particular order) it's:

1. Gold Soundz - Pavement (a lovely, lovely song - classic Pavement acher)
2. You Never Should - My Bloody Valentine (when the extra guitar comes in halfway through, I feel like I've left the ground)
3. Plainsong - The Cure (instant classic. I love The Cure)
4. Do You Know How To Waltz? - Low (from silence to wall of sound in 14 minutes. Shocking coming from a band who had barely risen above a whisper on two previous albums)
5. There Is A Light That Never Goes Out - The Smiths (the theme tune of many a drunken evening)

One too many mornings. Bob Dylan.

Days. The Kinks.

House of the Rising Sun. Woodie Guthrie, or The Rolling Stones.

But there are loads, and choice depends on mood.

Amazing yet you quote an 'Eagles' track on your sig??

I could list out plenty of Eagles Tracks that I really rate, but i was trying to limit myself.

i also missed out Focus, Thin Lizzy, Eva Cassidy, and of course stacks of Mozart , faure, bach etc.

If someone pushed me to find out my song that would be last played at my funeral, it would be La Crimosa, Mozart's Requiem. Possibly the most sublime piece of music ever written
