Another comedy classic is Who Dares Wins - with the ruffty-tuffty Lewis Collins hamming-it-up in splendid stylee. Who'd have thought? :lolol:

Bringing up Baby - 70 years old and still has me helpless with laughter.

Don't know why, but that just reminded me of another timeless classic: To Be or Not to Be - the original 1942 Jack Benny version, not the 1980s Mel Brooks remake (which was "OK", but not in the same class).

"So.... Zey call me 'Concentration Camp Erhardt'!"

Ooo yes, I'd forgotten that. A masterpiece.

Actually, I should also have mentioned the array of Preston Sturges' comedies too; deliciously bad-taste but Miracle of Morgan's Creek, Hail the Conquering Hero, Unfaithfully Yours are up there with the very best.

Naked Gun

Although not considdered a comedy, "the little shop of horrors" scene with Steve Martin and James Belushi in the dentists room was one of the funniest i've ever seen.
