[Film] Your favorite all-time trilogies?

A friend and I were bored last night and so discussed all the trilogies we have both seen, and which we consider the best and/or our favorite. After a bit of back and forth lol, we came to a consensus that Back to the Future is our favorite, with Lord of the Rings right behind it.

Lord of the Rings. The books of course, not the films - they're pretty good on the battle scenes and all that, but only a shadow of the books. Luckily I read the books first, so can appreciate the good bits and ignore the flummery.

Bourne
Star Wars (the original 3 movies)
A Fistful Of Dollars

Bourne is a good shout.

The Pusher trilogy is very good too.

Terminator and Terminator 2 also wonderful, Terminator 3 very much less so

Alien and Aliens were great, Alien 3 was garbage.
