On my mother's side - Gateshead, then Charlton Athletic (when they moved to SE16, the home of Millwall of course - but my grandad didn't much like dockers).

On my father's side - Newcastle United, then Portsmouth (when they moved to Winchester).

My brother's family mostly support Pompey (they live in and around Waterlooville) - but his wife's brother (an ex-player) supports both of the clubs he used to play for - Cardiff City and Newport County - and, like Superphil, is a sponsor of the mighty County.

I resent people saying their family support Arsenal / Spurs / Liverpool if they're from Sussex. They're not fans or supporters - they're sheep.

my dad, like me was a Hudderfield fan until we left to go to South africa, but supported Albion from about the same time as my brother and I started to go. He lost all interest in teh Albion when Barry Lloyd was manager, vowing to never go until Lloyd left ( unfortunately he died whilst LLoyd was still manager)

my brother is also a brighton STH, but he actually follows Huddersfield more than I do,where I look out for results and occasionally go, he actually attends quite a few games.

My wifes family havent been for years ( her brother used to go and is an Albion fan from his radio ) BUT bizzarly her mum and dad have become Manchester United fans from afar ( they are a bit old to go and see them)

My family are all Chelsea fans, I'm the only Brighton. My girlfriends family are all Reading fans as that's where she/they lives.

My Dad, and his side of the family are all from Liverpool. Therefore support Liverpool, with the odd Evertonian here or there.

Under your skin.
My dads side of the family are a mixture of Chelsea/Fulham/Celtic. (Irish roots living in London.)
My mums side are all Brighton fans going back a fair few generations.

I had the choice of Brighton and Chelsea season tickets when I was 8 and went for Brighton. :albion1:

Dad and all that side of the family are Scousers, so avid Liverpool fans. A couple of misguided bitters but adds to the banter.

My dad and uncle were both Brentford fans, on my mum's side I have a great uncle who for many years ran the Dublin branch of the Sheffield Wednesday supporter's club, one brother is Albion through and through (I managed to convert him from Man Utd)...the other brother isn't interested in football, despite having been to a few games at the Goldstone, a couple of years ago he still thought that we played there! Have a nephew who says he is a Chelsea fan, he is a work in progress as far as I am concerned, for his last birthday he went to a game at Bristol City (they live near the city)...I had managed to convince his dad that they would never get tickets for Chelsea and the cost for the family would be astronomical, I would have preferred they went to the gas but at least it wasn't Swindon!

My Dad supports Deportivo La Coruna, that's where he's from. All his side of the family do too naurally. My English Grandad was a geordie, so he and my Uncle supported/support Newcastle.

All stripes :)

Mothers side of the family are from Coruna and so are Depor fans, uncle and a couple of cousins have season tickets. Dad side is Brighton.
