I used to live near Lidl which was perfect for hangover munch, the best being a plate of some sort of potato product - hash browns/wedges/waffles and cream cheese jalapeno poppers. Ooo with Nandos sauce, ketchup, mayo and BBQ sauce dolloped around the plate too.

As a kid, mum seemed to buy cheap pate a lot for sandwich filling. It used to make the sandwich a bit limp and lacking texture, so I would put a cream cracker inside
