Inspired from a post of another thread... what is your anniversary this year?

My first game was January 1973 so I am celebrating 43 years.

Sort of followed the Albion before this date, kinda, my Dad was a fan anyway, I wasn't really interested in football as a kid, then I was when I got a bit older...

...March 2013... :moo:

I just watched my first game on You Tube, I didn't realise it was out there. First time I've seen it in 43 years!

Didn't realise until recently that I saw Alan Ball play.

I saw him in a Southampton v Palace game, it was a school trip, got spanked in the morning by a Southampton junior school team (I was 11) and went to the Dell in the afternoon. Scummers won

My first game was a 1-1 draw with Hartlepool at the Goldstone on 21st August 1993, which made this year my 23rd anniversary.

30 October 1971, 2-0 Shrewsbury Town : I hadn't realised until I just checked this that I have a 45th anniversary coming up on Sunday.

7th November 1959. Brighton reserves v West Ham reserves, 57 years ago. My parents had just moved to Hassocks having lived in East Ham so I stood behind the south goal wearing my West Ham scarf. But it soon went into my pocket as Brighton won 5 -1 and I changed allegiance; a hammer metamorphosed into a seagull.

Thanks to The History Man I have a copy of the programme; no's 5 and 6 were a couple of kids working their way through West Ham reserves, I wonder whatever happened to them?

68-69 for me. I know we had blue shirts white sleeves and I remember seeing Charlie Liversey, no idea what games etc went with kids from school.
