Sullivan for me, thats a terrible decisions by Slade IMO, this keeper is good and with Kuipers nearing 40 (almost) we will need him :(

some terrible decisions there...i might be wrong that sullivan hasnt played under slade, but im sure hes a good up and coming keeper.now we need to get a reserve in for FDM that is likely to cost more money than sullivan was on...fraser may not be the biggest talent in the world, but he played most of our vital games always giving his all and is at least a back up and leaves us even shorter in CM...Loft came back from loan and was good. he didnt set the place on fire but he got the job done better than most people this season on the right...im also slightly disppointed by hinshelwoods release. he was never a favourite of mine as he was too mistake prone and too small but he is at least a back up....I cant argue with many other releases but these players helped us stay up,they gave it their all and now they have been told to f*** off. i like slade but these decisions are very questionable and im also quite annoyed that quite a few of the local players who have come through the youth the ranks into the first team are released. we need our own players like fraser and sullivan while the current youth players will not see too much light at the end of the tunnel with these releases.
just thought i'd say my piece

Most surprised by Sully being offloaded - & to a slightly lesser extent, Hinsh & Fraser. We did need a damned good clear-out & The Slade certainly ain't taken any prisoners! Brutal. I hope we all look back on this day & love the guy all the more for having the courage to do his thang: & in doing so, accept he'd be putting a lot of folks' snozzers out of joint. The replacements better be good, otherwise I can cheerfully predict a riot & a bunch of heads on platters..

Sully. Means for sure that a new keeper is coming in and it will also upset FDM as he will become the reserve goalie again.

wow now this shows some bulls to me by Slade, lots of players in that list of released players that just not upto the job of where Albion want to be by time we move into Falmer, also some players who been hanging onto promise showed years ago (Robinson)
Im pleased offering contracts to Whing, Owusu and Hart, as all to me deserve to be given contracts.
I was surprised that he decided not to keep Fraser and Loft, especially as played them at end of season and did well, but got to be honest, they are both very average players and if we played them all season we would be in relagation zone no doubt.
So shows good common sense, i am sad for Hinshelwood and Sullivan for a couple of different reasons, hinshelwood as when players has that bit of quality about and Sullivan as young, doubt on that high wage and be a good back up.
But very happy released the waste of space players like Robinson (was good at 15 but hasnt improved and still acts like a little boy, im happy no longer at the club), Birchall (nothing to say about we paid wages so he could play for trindad), Carole (good when in non danger positions but how many assists and goals has he scored for us at time at albion ? no end product and that is why failed at Leeds as well)
mayo has been cracking for us but just past it, thanks a lot Mayo you have been a legend for the club, and i dont use that word lightly, good luck in whoever go and sign for.
Jarrett i thought had another season but just didnt look upto it did he ? also i was shocked to hear about Kane Louise been cut as was equal top scorer of the reserves and looked like he had that bit of quality but is a bit lightweight and lazy, maybe not Slades type of player.
This must mean that Slade is looking to buy a fair few players as this makes squad very thin, hope not another year of 15 loan signings, but i think be good news if sign Dicker as i doubt cost much as in Admin, be good asset.
Good job Slade

Oh yes another thing how long contracts do Dixon, Livermore, Hawkins and McLeod have left at club ?
I hope we transfer list 3 of the 4 above and give McLeod 6 months, as on the ball, he has that edge about him, beautiful control and a nice left foot, just a bit injury prone and lazy, but i do believe he has the potential to be a success like Butters turned it around.
I think Hawkins and Livermore was stupid moves that Adams made signing and not only that but to longer term contracts.
Get rid of.

Definately Sullivan, looked a good keeper in the games i saw, no worse than Kuipers in my opinion.

The thing with Livermore is that IF he is played in his correct position he's class. Its a shame Adams was so f***ing clueless with him. Dicker and Livermore would have been awesome at the end of the season.

Fraser, Sullivan and Carole - in that order.

Personally, I felt that one of the reasons we did escape relegation was down to the intent and spirit of our own nurtured players - and Tom Fraser being top of that category (sometimes the only occupier of that category on the pitch, actually!).

I'm sure he will be extremely disappointed, and I feel something of that sentiment in seeing him on this list.

I hope he doesn't just accept it, but gets out there and works to stay as a league pro., I really do.

Fraser mostly. apparently Slade has seen what many have suggested here that Fraser is alot of huff and puff with little actual impact, despite his involvment in the close. but you'd have thought he would see what he could get out of him in terms of more actual football, as he clearly has the right attitude.

I think Sullivan is going to be a good keeper, Remember that save he made at Leicester when we drew 0-0. Tim flowers predicted he would be in the England u21's and he must know what he's talking about! That said i have full trust in Russell Slade:thumbsup:

How could we release players that were only on loan? None of the decisions surprised me.
