Not the most I've spent but this was ridiculous.

Coming back from Egypt the other night with the girlfriend, at the airport we bought two baguettes, a small pot of Pringles and two cans of coke - £23!

Have you done the QM2 yet Dave?

For me, it was probably 3 weeks in Oz, 2 centre Perth and Sydney = £5k

It may well be topped by our QM2 + NYC honeymoon, but it is a joint cost so I guess I can't count that?!

No not yet, although we were looking a mini cruise on the QM2 last half term. $400 per person for 5 nights Southampton to Holland, down to France and back ...

have a look at this:

Cruise holiday offers, discount cruise deals, cheap cruises
Cruise Reviews, Cruise Deals and Cruises - Cruise Critic

There are some brilliant reviews on there.

we are hoping to get on one of the taster cruises on the new Queen Elizabeth out later this year.

I'm a member of that forum already, very helpful and knowledgable people on there

We are doing the transatlantic 6 night with flight included, and it is almost double your price above! On top of that we need to pay for a hotel in NYC, and not to mention the dressing up outfits for the cruise! :lolol:

I actually like the formal nights. Its not often that you get a chance to wear DJ's etc so we look forward to them.
