I didn't say I got any enjoyment from the fact we were losing the match, I got enjoyment from the fact that the dribblers in our crowd were made to look totally ridiculous after their antics in the first half when both players they decided to have a go at for NO reason whatsoever banged one in our net.

Suarez is the second-best player in the EPL after Modric in my book. The fact our 'fans' decided to boo him made me totally embarrassed of our support. BHAFC fans - small-time LOSERS.

Let's be honest about this, if Suarez was a shit player and had none of the recent controversy behind him, do you think he would have gotten that stick yesterday ? With the ball at his feet he's one of the most dangerous players there is, without a shadow of a doubt. Quality players who pose a threat to you will always get stick, it's the way it is, because as fans it's our job to try to unsettle such players, however futile a job that usually turns out to be.

As for Carroll. Entirely justified chants I'd say. At the price they paid for him, he really IS a - "waste of money" Perhaps he won't get - "Sold in the Summer" - though as they'll never recoup what they paid for him  Apart from that quality first time finish yesterday, he was pretty poor, especially as our defence wasn't all that yesterday anyway. He spent the whole game spitting his dummy out. Came across as a complete wanker and deserved every bit of stick he got from us I reckon.

I was proud of our support yesterday. Especially as given that we had a lot of day trippers amongst us, the massive majority didn't sneak off early but stayed to the bitter end to applaud our players off the pitch for what has been a great ride in a very creditable cup run :albion2:

Yes, which means either I'm also a dribbling moron with no social skills and I just can't see it or I'm in the minority of supporters we have with a brain. Whatever the answer, I wouldn't have given any grief to a fabulous player who has been backed by our manager, nor would I have applauded a team that let in six goals. Both are the acts of brainless idiots.

Strewth! I tend to agree with the bloke.

Our away fans were total retards today. Booing Suarez and singing 'What a waste of money' at Carroll - moronic and so small-time. Oh how I laughed when both went on to score:lolol:

Banter, and booing suarez? He's on the other team, of course we're going to boo him. And let's be honest, Carroll was a waste of money. He isn't worth the £35 million. He's a good player, no doubt. But he isn't worth £35 million. Personally, from where I sat. Most of the game he just moaned at the referee. He got a goal, cool. But surely a man of his supposed calibre is meant to be knocking them in left, right and centre 24/7.

Carroll = most expensive moaner.

Greetings from a Liverpool kop season ticket holder. Scouse bastard bin dipper yeah yeah there I've done it for you so anyway.

Just thought I'd comment on how superb I thought your support was today. One of the best English followings I've seen at anfield in years, sold out and all stood up (only a few away following do this now a days inc. us) singing throughout and didn't f*** off 10 mins before the end.
Not bad going after such a long trip on a Sunday.

Was great to see and that's why we all love the FA cup. You deserved the goal to celebrate.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Paul

P.s. wasn't that surprised after your excellent support I witnessed at the AMEX in the CC earlier in the season. Great stadium too.
:glare:Not quite as good as Palace's away following.

I sat in Prawn Sandwich today (Centenary stand, half way line) with the Liverpool fans. In no particular order

(1) Our fans were loud. Even the home fans were laughing at the eeyore eeoyre chants to Carroll and his merciless baiting was one of the highlights of the game. Half the time, different songs were coming out the opposite sides of the away end. Impressive support from the outside looking in especially the mentalness when Lua Lua scored.
(2) Liverpool fans never got going but in the very rare times they did (I think they were 3-1 up) it does create a loud atmosphere especially with the old school acousitcs- I'd like to see it against Man U or Everton.
(3) Walk on is a Liverpool chant - You wouldn't catch me holding my scarf up in the away end like some scouse apologist like half the away end seemed to be (and I fcuking hate that dirge of a song)
(4) God help us if Glen Johnson is right back in Euro 2012 and Jordan Henderson is anywhere near the squad.
(5) Luis Enrique was superb - The last full back who so thoroughly outclassed his opponent that I've watched for Brighton is when Johnny Crumplin wouldn't go within 20 yards of Kenny Samsom as he just knew he'd lose the ball. Suarez's first touch is something else.
(6) Skrtel could have played all day and all night against Vokes

Who took 6,000 up north to watch their team lose 6-1 yet still cheered their team all the way through, id say our away support yesterday was brilliant.
Sure it was, I would say any fans watching their team score 3 og's and losing 6-1 would need something to be happy about so jumping around and singing was what you did. Well done.

I don't think Carroll would have been on the end of so much abuse if he wasn't screaming at the referee after every challenge he was involved in. Amazed he wasn't booked for it.

Agreed, thought Suarez was on a different planet, Gerrard had a better game than I've seen him do for a while but Henderson was utterly dismal. I didn't even know he was playing until he popped up at a corner after about 35 minutes. Adam was hit and miss, mostly miss, Glen Johnson is very overrated. Didn't notice much from Jose Enrique but then again we probably didn't test him much.

I was impressed by the noise Liverpool made once they'd gone 3-1 up, but they were pretty quiet in the 1st Half. They need to make more noise - if you watch Spurs at home those fans can sing.

I've been impressed with the way Stoke and - more recently - Swansea have created a cracking home atmosphere which then helps to turn the place into a fortress. I think if the Liverpool fans turned up the heat then some of these draws might start turning into wins.

I bet you were one of the ones who clapped Gerrard at the Amex. And why would you laugh when an opposition player scores. Pot. kettle, black moron.

MORON IS THE WRONG WORD, POMPOUS SELF IMPORTANT TOSSPOT WOULD SUIT BETTER. i'D RATHER HAVE GLORY HUNTERS THAN SO CALLED FANS THAT GET OFF ON SLAGGING OUR SUPPORT AND WISHING OUR PLAYERS INJURY & EVEN DEATH AT VARIOUS TIMES

Oh God I completely agree, really wound me up to have a good 5-10 people in my immediate vicinity holding their scarves up to that song! WHY? Didn't and still doesn't make any sense to me at all.. We didn't blow bubbles at West Ham and we didn't "March on together" at Leeds, just leave the fans to their own song and back our team!!

However, apart from that and the Suarez baiting (I don't mind booing per say, but "You know what you are"? pfft, ignorant fans) I thought our support was bloody brilliant, and I must say that was aided by the fantastic stewards at Anfield, not over-zealous at all..
