Worthing
The 75 1-0 home win was my first game when Palace were in the north stand in huge numbers. For any youngsters on here the game was to 'take' the oppositions home end by getting in early and then trying to hold in when the home fans finally came in, congregated together and tried to run you back out. Absolute mayhem that day with Palace coming down thinking that they would just laud it over this little old seaside town and their supporters. They were all cocky handing out slappings to a few youngster before the game and nicking scarfs off young lads but once the game had started and the Albion boys got together Palace spent most of their time huddled up in the North corner by the fence(east) shitting themselves. I`d lent my scarf to a mate who was 13 and he had it ripped off him by some Palace twat in his thirties outside the old Sackville pub and that was the start of my hatred for all things connected with that club. I can`t confess to being an angel myself over the years when we`ve played them but that first game sowed the seeds for many Albion lads and when they came back for the Sammy Morgan 2-0 game the following season they had one hell of a welcoming committee waiting for then around Hove and Brighton stations.

17th august 1974 we won 1-0 (Mellor scored) My older Brother along with his mates in the North stand. Not only my first Albion v Palace game, also my first ever Albion game.

Mine too I was stood next to a young Albion fan who was wearing a Cardigan and at half time got a pipe out !! Also recall skinheads getting dragged out the Palace stand by the police and escorted round the ground and in front of the Albion fans who started throwing stuff at them.

I also saw my first Brighton / Palace game that day. I remember Danny Wilson playing an absolute blinder for us and, of course, the sickening tackle on Gerry Ryan.

Feb 91 for me. Also my first ever Brighton match, as couldn't get tickets for the FA Cup replay v Liverpool a week or 2 before (yes it was that small moment of glory that started my love affair). Anyway it was in the ZDS Cup and we lost 2 nil AET Wright and Bright scored the goals. Either way that was me hooked

I won't forget 1st time in 1974 ...Ian Mellor scoring in 1-0 win
Think ...but not certain, it was Malcolm Allisons team
Superb atmosphere, and this was before the real rivalry took off

Newcastle are desperate today to be the first team to beat us at The Amex...............in the FA Cup. Big kudos up for grabs!

Mine was the 5-0 in 2002 as well, went to the 0-0 later on in the season as well when Graham Barrett hit the post. Missed the two games in the 05/06 season as was working abroad and the home game earlier in this season due to work commitments.

Looking forward to some revenge tuesday night, whatever happens the atmosphere is always electric and great to be a part of.

Early 80's boxing day away, lost 2-0 I think. I recall Dale Jasper getting grief from both sets of fans.
