This thread has always had 1 consistent spine running through it.
2 centre backs at the top.
I feel losing that would be the equivalent of the ravens leaving The Tower.

Dunk.
Duffy.

Gonna be a bit controversial here, in the next Champions League place.

Ryan.

In at number 4 - there's something about his eyes, it's

Groß.

Stephens

Soon to go from 6th to 1st

Andone.

Maupay

Then in no particular order
Murray
Big Jurg
Solly (progressing nicely)
Burn

Actually come to think about it, at the moment the team is missing a 'standard' who must, at all cost, be protected by the 'girls' while the men folk go off and fight.
Not only that the 'girls' seem few and fair between as well.

I predict we'll do ok this season.

I think yesterday's starting eleven was the best attempt this season, and whittling it down to seven could cause some debate. Candidates on the bench might be leading their own weight division, but yesterday was our 'biggest' team for some time.

Think we have a lot of “hold me back merchants” myself, limited leadership qualities.

Matty Ryan - Aussie, say no more
Shane Duffy !
Lewis Dunk - biggest psycho ever to come out of Hurstpierpoint
BDB - will just do that straight armed palm on the forehead thing followed by a swift right hook
Dale Stephens - may look like TinTin, but can look after himself
Ali J - Kyle Walker doesn't know how close he came
Aaron Moy - see Matty
Neal Maupay - Will cover 100M in <8 secs, windmilling the whole way, just to get involved
Glen Murray - Will put down his Ovaltine and get out his armchair if riled

Think we are just about covered

You left out El Galgo ! He was quite prepared to take on the whole of the main stand on his own when he was subbed off.

midlands
of yesterdays starting eleven

Ryan
Greyhound
Duffy
Dunk
Burn
Bissouma
Maupay

Were definitely all up for the battle - other four were all quite committed too when it came to covering for other team members

So, ready for when we eventually play again

Matty - Aussie pisshead
Shane - Nothing needs to be said
Dunk - know he's from hurst, but come on !
BDB - will just hold anyone at arms length and pick them off
Stephens - who could believe Tin Tin could put in a tackle like that

Good defence, but then we get serious,

Maupay - twice as angry as Andone, but with braincells
Jahanbakhsh - don't even think about it Walker, you pussy
Murray - the Governor

I think we are ready for the restart

'Keepers don't count. That's a rule.

Duffy, Dunk, BDB, Stephens, Maupay.

Five.

Alex Mac Allister has been sent off playing for the Argentinian U-23s, so he's in. And Schelotto doesn't even need to be named in the starting XI to be included, as he has already proven this season!

You gonna tell Stocko he didn't count if a ruck started dishonouring the stripes?

Who's supports did Casper have a 'disagreement' with last season?

I remember him goading some Millwall meatheads from the subs bench at their place. They were trying to get to him from a few rows back. He didn't seem at all fazed.

I do think Biscuit is right we are soft.

Switch the answers and we have:-

Monty - Meh
Webster - Laughable in comparison to Double D
BDB - Nice guy.
Bernie - Inn deed a lover not a fighter.
Solly - Willing but not able.
The Tross- Bless him
Glenn 'Not The Hair' Murray - Will try an calm it all down.
Mooy - As likely to kill someone as miss the whole event.
Biss - Will be laughing somewhere.
Ali J - He'll Jackie Chan the shit out of one person, but 5 team mates will get battered in the process.

Basically half the active squad nowhere near the action.

We're asking a hell of a lot from Dunk, Duffy and Ryan.
Sure Stephens and Gross will pitch in.
But even with lockdown hair Davy  as the wild card, it's still only gets us to 6.

We're completely out gunned and have become reliant on kidz doing a man's job.

Based on the super computers finding finishing 20th is too good for this team..

Only El Greyhoundo can save us.

Very true although even then it's still light when compared to the halcyon days of whack jobs on the bench:-

Poyet
Tanno
Oatway.

And of course Tanno was still able to dish it out on the pitch for us - two red cards in 11 starts.
