Am I the first to notice today's date? Yes, the Harry Beck variation applies allowing closed stations!

I give you British Museum (Central Line).

Bloody hell sir, a very crafty move indeed.

After much pondering though, I'm sure the only way that can be countered with a reverse flip to DOLLIS HILL. *sigh*

Not Luton! Thank God

Good, but you could have done so much better. In Royal Wedding years you can invoke the Royal Harry Beck variation (on the first Friday 13th following the wedding) which allows you to create a mythical new station provided it has a connection to a Royal residence. I would therefore have played Clarence House.

Oh my goodness!

The rules dear people, read the rules!!

First, a simple JCL approach to MC by Olliwarne - we are most certainly not playing the 1958 London Monopoly rules! Invalid Move.

I also declare an invalid move on Norman Potting's turn. Sir, I was under the impression that you understood the rules of MC? This is not tourism dear boy!

And you, Frutos, also an invalid turn and, dare I be so bold as to declare a reverse injunction on you too for not spotting NP's mistake, and playing off his move!! Egad's! I have not seen a blatant lack of regard to the rules like this since the 1978 Juniper Street Quarter Final (South) where Lady Frippington was banned from ever playing MC again after spilling her G&T over her opponents cat! Deary me.

We return then to the previous valid turn of Fairlop - and hope to god that we haven't ruined the game!

Barnet. Using a simple lateral push.

A reverse injunction indeed. How very dare you! :glare:

If we're currently at Barnet, then surely a quick triple hop to ARNOS GROVE is the next move.

A more chaotic episode is hard to imagine.

Thanks go to Narly for putting us back on the straight and narrow. The simple lateral push can ALWAYS be relied on to steady the ship.

A steady play by Frutos... in the same spirit, I will SHUNT and claim...

That leaves me with so many options...

I could have thrown in a few curveballs here, but TURNHAM GREEN is risk-free and leaves it very open for whoever makes the next move.

Oh dear oh dear. :nono:

Have you forgotten today's date? It's Friday 13th, which means the Black Cat Modifications are in play.

Therefore, from Earls Court it's only a simple inverse quadruple to MORNINGTON CRESCENT. I would have expected an experienced player to have seen that possibility and guarded against it tbh. Ah well, too late now.

:clap2: :clap2:

Oh Narly, Narly, Narly, Narly! Generous or foolhardy, who knows?

Well played Frutos, although claiming any real credit for that would surely be beneath you?

The boy Frutos is on fire at the moment. If I knew he was going to turn up in Mornington Crescent form like this, I'd have stayed away.
