Surely the answers are subjective depending on the team badge and how VAR will rearrange the laws of the game to suit the badge.

The decisions made by the ref are subjective, and using your criteria. Whether that relates to the actual correct answers is another matter!

What this quiz does prove is how varied all of our knowledge and interpretation of the laws is. The post match referee thread will have to be viewed in that light from now on.....

Really interesting thread this. I think most of us, as footy fans/players, could call the basics right if we reffed a game. The questions are quite nonstandard scenarios which really hits home how much knowledge the refs have to have to do the job properly.

One caveat I will add, if I reffed a park game using my (mostly wrong) answers, I don't think anyone on the pitch would notice
