Out of interest when you do the laws of the game test are they all things that normally don't happen in a game or do you get some 'ordinary' ones in with the edge cases? And what's the pass mark?

Is there a point here that, fans won't especially mind if one of these non normal things are adjudicated incorrectly, because they don't know the rules.
What fans want from a ref is them consistently doing well on the decisions which do happen all the time and to be stopping players routinely taking the piss out of them with time wasting and stuff.

If it's a goal for the home team in front of the Kop or the Stretford End then no.

I'm pretty sure they can if it's in the same passage of play.

This is where Rugby gets a red mark though. They go back too far.

Of course, if one of the ladies is on VAR they will go back ten years and drag something up.
